In case you weren’t aware, WordPress has issued their first maintenance release for 3.5. Version 3.5.1 was released this week. It contains fixes for certain reported problems and addresses some security issues that were found.

Some of the Fixes Include:
Minor workflow and compatibility issues have been addressed.
Preventing of video embeds from being left off of scheduled posts.
Preventing some HTML elements from being modified or removed in the Editor.
Some of the Security Issues Addressed are:
Server-side request forgery vulnerability and remote scanning using pingbacks fixed.
Cross-site scripting vulnerability in Plupload library addressed.
Cross-site scripting via short codes and post content fixed.
