I had a great time at the New Media Expo (NMX 2013) in Las Vegas last week. The conference is a great opportunity for bloggers, podcasters, and other new media content creators to get together and network while also acquiring new skills and picking up some great tips to further develop their blogging careers. The event was held at the Rio hotel January 6th – 8th and was perfect in terms of facilities and the number of attendees. That is, there was a great turn out, but you could certainly move around easily without feeling too crowded.
The keynote speakers included Guy Kawasaki, Leo Laporte (The Tech Guy), and Dana White of the UFC. While the educational sessions included topics on photography, increasing your online audience, video production, social media, and more. I also got a chance to walk around the exhibit hall to check out some cool new products for bloggers and new media producers.
NMX 2013 was one of the best conferences I have gone to and I’d definitely recommend you attend a future New Media Expo event if you get the chance. I’ll be posting more detailed information I picked up at the event in future posts.
